The Monroe Career Pathways Coalition is an emerging, collaborative effort among education entities, business representatives, community-based and workforce/economic development organizations.
Vision Statement
Monroe County will be a community where residents possess the academic knowledge, career readiness and life skills necessary to succeed in post-secondary study, training, and work, thus supporting a robust workforce for Monroe County.
Mission Statement
To implement a countywide career pathways system that successfully prepares Monroe County residents for post-secondary education and training and in-demand careers. Through collaboration with community stakeholders and partners, the Monroe County Career Pathways Coalition will create an environment where residents engage in impactful career-connected learning and experience academic learning through a real-world focus on careers and career readiness.
Our Approach
As a partnership, we create and share resources and experiential opportunities for schools, students, families, and businesses. We seek to coordinate and support the work among multiple partners to implement a comprehensive career education strategy that will produce a skilled, sustainable workforce. This approach is carried out through overarching goals and action steps.
